Each 40-minute session will explore how to leverage EchoVideo to enhance your video management services and learning and teaching environments.

Session 1: Implementing Multi-Camera Solutions 

Martin will share how he and his colleagues designed and implemented over 120 EchoVideo-based multi-camera systems into teaching spaces across several University campuses. These systems, ranging from simple webcam set-ups to high-quality PTZ cameras, are used for recording complex laboratory environments, clinical and consulting practicals, monitoring assessments, and creating exemplar recordings.

Session 2: Advanced Use of EchoVideo to Enhance Learning 

In this session, Martin delves into subjects including the use of 360-degree video to support veterinary surgical anaesthesia, remote exam monitoring to improve academic integrity, and student-driven video assessments using EchoVideo’s mobile and browser capture tools.

Session 3: Cutting-Edge Hybrid and Collaborative Learning Spaces
 

Discover the innovative technologies integrated into Murdoch University’s award-winning Boola Katitjin building. Speaker Bio: Martin Hill

Martin Hill is a Learning Technologist and innovator specialising in learning and teaching capture, with immersive, collaborative, hybrid, and active learning technologies. With over three decades of experience across Curtin University and Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia, Martin has managed numerous digital capture systems and developed many digital innovations in learning spaces and clinical practice. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and currently manages the mixed reality Digital Immersive Laboratory at Murdoch University’s Boola Katitjin, which was awarded World’s Best Higher Education & Research Building by the 2023 World Architectural Festival.
